Checkpoint 06: native Windows tree/archive libraries
Parent: PHLEGM-v8-Developer-Distribution-Linux-Native-05-2026-1007-1417-3471.zip

Requested tree.lib/archive.lib separation implemented. tree.lib owns recursive folder hierarchy, source identities, loose files and sorted catalogs; archive.lib owns ZIP containers, nested members, compressed read/edit/create/delete and atomic archive replacement. The public tree API remains unchanged.
Windows archive.lib now contains a self-contained native ZIP/DEFLATE codec; no PowerShell helper process or additional archive DLL is required. The older direct media-container helper paths also delegate to tree.lib/archive.lib. No PowerShell/subprocess archive code remains in the runtime source. Build/bootstrap packaging tooling retains its existing build-time behavior.
Linux uses its existing native system-libarchive implementation behind archive.lib. Both compiler entry paths compile and link archive.lib separately. Its static artifact is libarchive_phlegm.a to avoid shadowing the system libarchive.
Windows supports stored/DEFLATE entries, fixed/dynamic/stored DEFLATE blocks, data descriptors, and ZIP64 records within the inherited sub-2-GiB memory limit. New/changed entries use DEFLATE when beneficial. Untouched member records retain their compressed bytes; comments, timestamps, attributes and non-ZIP64 extra metadata survive edits. Encryption, multi-volume archives and extraction of other compression methods return failure.

Validation PASS: 81 ZIP fixtures; shared loose/nested ZIP CRUD, recursive catalogs, empty/binary files, extraction, rename, path spaces, CRC/truncation/corrupt archive rejection; independent Python ZIP integrity, compression, comments/metadata, nested sibling preservation and 1001-member rewrite checks; direct/recursive media ZIP paths. Reproducible fixture corpus and FreeBASIC smoke sources included.
Windows codec ran under native Linux with diagnostic-only OS replacement/PID shim. Actual Windows native compile/link/filesystem runtime remains unverified.
Compilation PASS: initial 32 checks (archive/tree/macro/application across eight OS/architecture/backend targets), final 16 archive/tree checks and final 8 application checks. Linux x86/x86_64 OpenGL/Vulkan object compilation; Windows 32/64 OpenGL/D3D11 C code generation. Linux x86 runtime remains unverified.
Normal textual files use CRLF; Linux .sh files use LF. Linux executables remain .elf and Windows executables .exe.
Outstanding prior work: full Linux GUI/display/CHR migration/link/runtime and Vulkan presentation.
